The campsite is large and can accommodate up to 30 vehicles without any problems. You will see a few chalets there but these are not in operation. There is also a hall where you can have you activities if it rains, or you can even camp underneath its roof. There is a public toilet available but it is pretty run down. You have to carry water in if you plan on using it.

Kelong Acheh is a Fishing Resort built on stilts, located between Pulau Acheh and Pantai Penyabong near Mersing, Johore. It is a popular resort for visitors from Malaysia and Singapore. If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur, the drive will take you about 6 hours.

When you are away for a few days off grid and need to recharge your devices, the best solution is to use a portable power station that gives you options for recharging the unit. The Telemong campsite is a beautiful place to be. If you want to get a good spot, it's wise that you come early as there are many campers who frequent the place.

If you do not own a 4-wheel drive vehicle and you love camping, chances are that you would have gone camping at the beach or at one of those pay-to-camp places which look like a village of tents. I mean, these places are alright if you just want to get away and don’t mind having lots of other campers around you. To really enjoy your camping experience, you should try camping in a jungle along a mountain stream.
